Wind Ensemble
Dear CWE Friends,
Yes, we've made it to 25 years! It's
been an incredible quarter-century
of performing the great gamut of classic
and contemporary repertoire for winds.
We're indebted to Steve Canton and
Jacky Canton for establishing this
group and to Conductor Emeritus Martha
Cox, who led the group for 22 years,
establishing its standards of high
quality performance of original wind
literature. We are also grateful to
our audience--especial thanks to those
of you who have supported us for all
25 years!
To celebrate this historic season,
we have planned performances that
continue our traditions of collaborating
with other groups, featuring guest
soloists, and performing new music.
